Nov 21st, 2013Aged very well. While still a great backbone, the wine had converted to dark, mineral, almost sweet notes of autumn leaves, oak and tobacco. Tannins were very present but very smooth giving it a lingering soothing finish.

Apr 6th, 2015Great wine for a weeknight. Not my favorite selection from Cougar Crest, but an enjoyable wine. Nice nose - dark berries and plum with medium tannins on the finish.
