Top Notes For
"Odedi"

A very pretty color of ruby with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity.

On the nose bing cherries, blueberries, light vanilla, light wood, alcohol, cloves, spices, earth, dust, peppercorn, leather and vegetables.

Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity, soft and smooth with nice legs.

Dry on the palate with cherries, oak, spices, earth, pencil lead, bitter herbs, river rocks, alcohol, vinaigrette and peppercorn.

Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy pomegranates.

This Italian Barbera is simple and better with food. Not fully balanced yet, and a bit hot at the back of the throat. Showing a light and spicy mouthfeel.

Would benefit from one additional year in the bottle. Needs 45 minutes to open up properly and show some tannins.

A good everyday wine to accompany your dinner dish. Will pair nicely with pizza. I paired it with Parmesan cheese artichoke dip and crackers.

13.5% alcohol by volume.
