Cigar Zin Old Vine California Zinfandel

Enjoying this 2014 Zin on 9/11/17. Bold with flavors of blackberry. Deserve it after dealing with Hurricane Irma!

I taste tobacco notes, but that could be the power of suggestion by calling it Cigar Zin.

Very drinkable zin. Dry, balanced, thick. Enjoyed much more than I expected, 2014 vintage

$8 a bottle. Bought a case. This is from Lodi AVA. Best $8 Zin you will ever find. Love Cosentino!

I was very impressed with this wine. I am not usually a Zinfandel fan, but this outdid my expectations. Balanced berries and jam on the palate/nose. Strong flavor of cacao and earth on the finish.

Rich blackberry flavors and good smooth ending

Smokey velvet, blackberry, plums... nice long finish. Happy birthday to me :)

Red fruits and slight vanilla on the nose. Chewy and tight. 2014 might be a bit too yearly. Not bad for the price point. It's worth the buy, but drink quickly.
