Corvidae Wine (Owen Roe)

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I like Owen Roe. I like syrah. I like wines that are dense when they're supposed to be dense, but this is a beast. This isn't meant for aging but I can't help thinking another two years would straighten it out and integrate all the parts (dark purple color, coffee grounds and boisenberry syrup on the nose, full body) that individually suggest something better than what's there.
