Elevation Sensation Alta Mesa Red Rhone Blend
Deep ruby-purple with jammy blueberry, black cherry, cassis, olive, and bacon with lilac, raisin, herbs and granite. Medium bodied with oodles of ripe fruit and meaty layers. Firm, plush and pleasantly chewy tannins and a wonderful juicy acidity. The finish is long with a nice interplay of savory nuances and lush dense fruit.

Apr 29th, 202082% Grenache • 18% Mourvèdre • This wine was aged for 42 months in a combination of 1 year old hogsheads, and 600 and 800 liter demi-muid. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration. It attacks the palate with amazing fruit, complexity, structure and concentration.

Jan 26th, 2015Grenache, Mourvèdre blend. Little over extracted, dark fruit, chalky tannins, soft acidity, smooth texture, the fruit tastes a bit hot and the high alcohol definitely shows its flare. Overall it's not too shab.
