The nose was incredibly pretty with sweet spices up front, followed by lavender, mint, roses, dusty soil tones, dried orange and mineral-infused cherry. On the palate, I found medium-weight textures with zesty acidity paving the way for tart cherry, savory herbs and saline-minerality. The finish was long with mounting tannin that dried the fruit yet remained fresh and lively throughout. Its already quite beautiful and hard to resist.

Treacle leathery nose, cherry and soft brown sugar in the mouth, firm tannins. Not very complex so tasty but dull. Not worth £80+ in the 2012
