Corazon Profundo
Garnacha
Haven’t had many Grocery Outlet bargain wines that I like, but this is the best one yet. Needs a little aeration to blow off some funk and to reveal pleasant tart cherry/plum fruit with a hint of minerals. A simple quaffer worth the $5 price.

Jun 15th, 2020I like the weathered hands photo on the label. Looks muy autentico. Dark color. Lighter than the others from #CorazonProfundo, but still pretty dark. Smells fruity. Ripe black olives and berry jams. Flavors are good. Tart. Smooth. Bit of bitterness. Licorice and flowers. It’s a nice Spanish wine. A bit simpler and less extracted than some other Granacha I’ve loved. Still this makes for a great bottle to go with pasta or bar b que (and the $7 price at Grocery Outlet is perfecto!).
