Someone gifted this 10 years ago and it’s been sitting in the pantry since— not even the cellar. Finally opened it to cook with, and it’s really not bad. Has stood the test of negligence admirably, with bright acidity and some interesting tertiary notes. It’s a slightly sweet, oaky pinot gris that tastes more or less like 90s California chardonnay, but still!
