Lowkey spicy... strong vanilla notes. Aged in bourbon barrels so the smokiness is definitely present. Pretty rich but not as smooth as I thought it would be.

Dry sweet and spicy. I liked the smoky berry tones with enough acidity to quelch the currant and bolder flavors.

Very good. It’s a heavy wine unlike anything I’ve ever had. Similar in many ways to a port or fortified wine, but more drinkable. Really interesting!

Middle of slightly sweet bourbon ( vanilla, caramel, etc) with a quick hot finish.
