Reminiscent of Siena. Dusty musty nose. On the palate I get white pepper with a hint of anise in the back. Strawberry emerges on the finish with fairly balanced tannins. Quite good.

Rich, peppery, and dry but not quite as intense as most with this high of a percentage of San Genovese. Well balanced and opens up well if given time to breathe.
