Olivier Horiot’s experiment - on red Kimmerigian marl, southeast facing, 20-40% slope, 200m elevation, vines planted in 1987, 10.8% abv. Pronounced intensity, medium+ acidity, long finish. Fresh peach, tart citrus, high minerality of wet stone, orange blossom, honey, ginger candy, stewed apricot, lime, lemon candy, raw bread dough. Toasty vanilla on the palate with an almost bitter finish from the minerality.
