Beautiful dark read, jammy but complex flavor with a nice oaky bite. Tasted 6 March 2022

Light for an amarone but smooth and delicious.

Very well structured & smooth red. Perfect compliment for a hearty Pasta Bolognese as this sturdy red hood sits own with notes of spice, mature red fruit and a great just enough to linger finish in a way that surpasses a good Chianti. You could que up some classic Cranberries here: “Do you have to…do you have to let it linger….” To answer Doloroes’ question - yes ma’am! This mouth feel approaches a French red but not lifting the same heavy weight - and it’s better for it as this is fine glass sip after sip. Let it breathe a bit and enjoy! The lingering spice and red fruit that tapers away keeps you coming back. Buy 2 bottles at a time!

Color of burgundy, nice legs. Nose also reminds me of Pinot Noir, with wet mushroom, ripe berries, plus aldehyde, fermented cabbage, and spicy in nasal cavity. Taste follows the nose with addition of spicy sweetness, strawberry syrup, bitter sour cranberry, black tea, and warmth of alcohol. Aftertaste shows some more ripe grape and bitter grape skins. On par, yet I expected more for Amarone.
