A gorgeous wine in a perfect place. A dark purple color in the glass and completely opaque. Deep aromas of plum, dried herbs, mocha, forest floor and a touch of mushroom. Plush and rich on the palate with bright acidity and dusty, soft tannins. Juicy flavors stewed plum, currants and blackberries lead to secondary flavors of wet earth and a touch of umami. The finish is incredible. Long and full with black pepper and spice with a touch of acidity. Fabulous, especially with Boeuf Bourguigon!
