A very nice aroma comes from the glass almost immediately. A lingering taste on the tongue of black cherry and licorice. Tannins are there and add body but do not detract from the tasting experience.

Starts with a bold, full body. The middle taste is sweet, almost jammy and finish is woodsy with a hint of spice. Smooth and tasty. - 2005 Reserve.
