Having been divided into 11(!) AVAs two years ago -- Paso Robles is yet to show what it is capable of -- how beautiful, diverse and interesting are the wines it has to offer! This cab is classy and enjoyable

Beautiful rich nose full of dark red berries and and balanced tannins. A delicious and full-bodied wine and becomes better as it continues to open up. I’d love to pair this with a nice steak. And great price as well; $17.99. In this case I’m so pleased with my older wine find; I feel this this wine could actually stay in the bottle a little longer but it’s wonderful now, too.

Very un Cab like. Thin body with off-putting barnyard flavors. More like a hideous example of a Montepulciano.

Surprisingly restrained for Paso Cab. Medium body, red fruit on the palate with a touch of black pepper and some vanilla on the back end. Good acidity. Tannins are there but not overly drying. Not extracted or cloying. Very nice “house” red.
