Captain Joe is still one of my favorite Petite Sirahs. I really loved the 2009 but 2011 isn't that far off. Very earthy like I like my reds with a hint of plum.

Opened this up to have with leg of lamb I was barbecuing. But we finished it off before the lamb was done. Classic PS with plum and cherry finish.

Very nice full wine, fruity but not sweet. Smooth, clean finish. Paired well with Pasta Moon's famous sausage lasagne.
