The cuvée Raphael is a deeply inky, +15% abv, heavyweight nearly-pure syrah from Ventoux. Shouts red and black fruits, grilled meats, black olive brine and pepper. Textbook, aside from it's enormous volume. No sweetness and enough acidity to balance it a bit, but no doubt this wine is a sledgehammer on a budget. Not my normal go-to style but very enjoyable. 🧱🌿🐗

May 30th, 2021I was swayed because it’s called Cuvée Patricia. It’s ok. It’s not bad, but it’s not great.
