Showing black currants plums cooked cherries cedar vanilla spices espresso earth tobacco leaf herbs and peppercorn.
Long finish with grippy tannins and tangy raspberries.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly so be patient.
Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years.

Part 1 of the final and main event for the Fall WNH. The most spectacular lineup of wines I’ve ever seen, and an overall wonderful ending to an amazing trip with fantastic people.
Another label I was excited to try after hearing of the high demand for this CabFranc. Very plush and smooth. Less spice and charcoal than the Detert. More herbal and red/black fruit. Additional notes of cedar and mocha. Delicious CF. Thanks for bringing this @Mike R !

So incredibly seductive, structured and opulent. Tasted like a 2007 versus like a 2014! Big bold but so ever eloquent.
