Very complex Pinot, for a newbie it had very strong, rich black currant to it right off the bat. Let it decant for a bit and found some complex flavors like plum, even some fun light bits of sweet tobacco from all the age. Not my favorite Pinot from the area but enjoyable. It may be too aged for me.
