Latham 4/15/17 all family. Good balance of resolved tannins and complex tertiary flavors of a Bordeaux blend. Great value from Acker. Less than $10 in mixed lot. How even a reserve of supermarket wine can live long.

Again a surprise on how such a mass market wine maker’s effort can age so well. Still in great balance with mature fruits and tertiary notes of aged Cab. Impressive.

Jul 12th, 2022Loaded with oodles of ripe fruit, slightly more oak than my preference, but overall very nice. Holding up beautifully after 17 years in bottle. If memory serves this was very high(in the top 15) on WS list of top 100 wines.
