Just cause I haven't had this in about a decade, and it was in the supermercado (convenience matters). It's pretty much as I remembered it, meaning it's pretty good but a little strong with the wood. It's aged nearly 7 years since the harvest and still has a fresh fruit feel even if it is a little buried. Solid mass production.

Somewhat disappointing. I typically like CC wines, but I felt like this was on the heavy side.

Vanilla and oaky. Smooth cab. Drinking it at 65 degrees but I'm thinking of drinking at a bit warmer temp, the flavor a can become fuller. Impressed for an inexpensive bottle.

I have purchased this wine for as little as $8. Better than most $25 bottles. The 2011 is not quite as good, but still a great deal. An easy every day bottle.

Not too much on the nose, but I was drinking out of a plastic cup. On the pallet I was pleasantly surprised. Nice complexity. Not too fruit forward. Nice long finish. Some tartness. At friends giving.
