Light yellow gold. Inviting nose of baked quince with savory spices. Medium palate echoes the nose adding subtle hints of burnt butterscotch, and citrus rind. Medium plus acidity at the core that softens a bit back palate. Finish is long and clean, extending the pome aspects of the palate. A solidly New World Chardonnay with an Old World feel. Richer white wine fare (cream sauces, heavy seafood) will be well supported. Drink now through 2025.

Star bright pale straw gold. Inviting nose of baked quince and citrus rind. Medium full palate echoes the nose adding a hint of white pepper mid palate to finish. Oak influence is subtle (I’m guessing French) and malolactic only slightly present, k both showing in a shade of toasted butterscotch. Medium plus acidity. In short, a classic New World Chardonnay with an Old World ethos. Great with a meal, with medium cheeses, and as a sipper. Drink now through 2028 (but with only subtle development).

Delicious! New world Burgundy! Butterscotch nose. Light oak. Citrus, slight white pepper. Can’t wait to buy again!
