2016v. The first of my ALDI off brand, bargain tastings. Very light color. The nose and palette are a mild version of exactly what you'd expect in an NZ Sauv Blanc: lemon/lime, gooseberry, and kiwi. A good intro for anyone who might be put off by more potent sauv blancs from the region, and an easy drinking wine for the rest of us. Could use a tad more acidity but it's a great value for $6! 12% ABV.
