Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery
Lehigh Valley Chambourcin
Nose has ripe red cherry and very ripe black currant (ruby port-like).
Palate has tangy ripe black cherry, ripe black raspberry, crème de cassis and toasty but saturated oak.
Honestly quite surprised at this showing, decent really. This bottle was overlooked so many times until I happened across it today. I guess the best thing for Pennsylvania Chambourcin is to just forget it in your cellar for at least 5-6 years.
Sealed with Nomacorc.
