So impressed with this gift from my close bud @Martin G Rivard. I’ve never heard of this, and boy, I’ve missed out! This is a contemporary-styled Bdx, which tilts towards the Francophiles amongst us.
The nose is dark and brooding with licorice, sage and tobacco. The palette is plush and semi-sweet. Lovely blackberries, brambles and plum fruits. Built for the long-haul, consume now, or over the next 10 years - outstanding!
