The last one I had was a little disjointed, but this bottle is drinking beautifully. Ripe strawberry & peach notes. All Malbec, so lots of power here. Drinks very well with roast chicken.

Jun 10th, 2020I really like Coutale’s Cahors wine. This took some getting used to, but opened up into a pretty nice bottle. The fruit is tart, but with air it takes on a savory quality that adds complexity. Fresh acid adds some lift as well.

Really nice. A bit on the straightforward side, but super drinkable and juicy, really lingers. Almost like the wine version of cranberry juice.
