This really grew on me over a couple hours. A brooding wine, especially relative to any PN I've tasted from NZ. The black cherry and watermelon have matured and melded together and combined with a sweet, herbaceous vegetal note (red beets?), which is all backed up with baking spice, sandy loam and some secondary Worcestershire sauce.

Aug 20th, 2016One of the best NZ Pinot Noirs I've had. In fact, one of the best Pinot Noirs I've had in a long time. French in style so has a very classic taste. Fantastic stuff.
