Simply magnificent. The nose showed layers of ripe pear, almond, young pecorino, lemon zest, and dried flowers. On the palate, it displayed weighty, oily textures, with notes of whole butter, spice, dried apricot, and minerals. The finish seemed to go on forever, with lanolin like coating of fruit and minerality. Why didn't I buy an entire case of this wine?
