The most distinctively different Malbec I’ve tasted. It’s bright, lively and fruit-driven. Smells like basil berry kool-aid, and tastes like a juiced-up cloves gimlet. Definitely some juniper in there, and velvety dark fruit like dried fuzzy black pluot. Certainly not of European or Argentinian terroir. A guess this is Ojai shining thru!
