Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhône Blend

Awesome wine, bold without being big, lots of minerality, crushed rocks, stony, raspberry preserves, incense and nice acid. Big fan. Can't wait to see how it evolves. Ribs killing it!

Crushed rocks, raspberry fruit leather, salt water crustacean shells, peppered beef jerky, soft tannin and nice acid. Having on day two, really pretty. Thanks Harry :)

With the steak it paired well. The nose had that Rhone, properly aged smell that I aim for. A little thin on the back end, but not overly hot either. The label wasn't lined up with the cartouche which bugs me. Probably why it ended up in Santa Ynez:)

I would not have dared to drink this so young — but it was delicious, fresh & complex,
