Clos Centeilles
La Part des Anges Claret de Centeilles Côtes du Brian Carignan Blend
Nose has ripe cherry, partially dried cherry, pomegranate, sea spray and granite.
Palate has ripe cherry, (warmed) tart plum, dried orange, faint sweet vinegar note with mild tannins. A nice wine, but not in my wheelhouse for (dark) rosé. ~$14
50% Carignan (100 years old) / 30% Riveirenc (15 years old)/ 20% Piquepoul Noir (17 years old)

You may think it's a red but actually a rosé. Delicious.

Aug 27th, 2017Fragrant for days. Macerated plum and pomegranate, with fennel and pencil shaving undertones. Smell like a cherry fruit roll up. Just the faintest brush of tannin like when the wave recedes and leaves just its imprint on wet sand.
