Mild-mannered, approachable, with a hint of cleavage. Nothing notable on the nose, though perhaps I spent a little too long sulphuring barrels today. Vanilla, the slightest hint of mint, and muddled strawberries. The approach is smooth, picking up a robustness in the middle, then tapering out quickly to an easy finish. A 375 ml for $4.99 at Grocery Outlet is a steal of a weekday sipper.

Nice all purpose pinot - very enjoyable and would have rated it higher had it a bit more bite. Was a little gentler than my favorite, similar priced pinots.

The color is pale, the taste is sharp and heavy.

Strawberry, rhubarb, spearmint, a bit of those wet ocean rocks - a nice nose to spend some time with. The palette is more straight forward Sonoma Pinot, if a tad less interesting. Bright red fruits, solid acidity, a little bit of spice and earth. Not the best Sonoma Coast Pinot I've had, but for the relatively low price it's still a nice buy.

Pretty text book cool (California) climate Pinot. Lots of black and red berry in the nose, with a touch of oak. Medium-full body, earthy, plump and juicy without being cloying. Think of a more extracted Burgundy.
