Very high pigment in there. Dark purple/black. Smells heady and dense. Earthy with a hint of blackberry pie crossed with winery. Flavors are classic for Petite Sirah. Licorice or the black and ‘grape’ type. (There were these 3ft ropes flavored grape at my elementary school). Bit of smoke too. More fruit than funk style though. This is a great affordable Petite from a cool locale. I’d recommend it if you like big reds (and can find it).
