The CellarTracker drinking window says 2014-2016 for this wine and I'll be damned if it's not beautiful right now in 2015. For a new world wine it certainly has old world sensibilities, tar and roses and dried sweet cigar ash with dried cherries with a slight funky touch of rhubarb. The palate is exceptional. The tannins have softened without going flabby, the notes I get are found in the nose and highlighted, and the finish just refuses to quit. For a wine that is 17 years old (and as good as the 2005 was I had) this is stellar.

Typical Nebbiolo aroma like Barolo. Beautifully aged. Miracle for $30 bottle. Dried berry, earl grey tea.
