Clara Marcelli Piceno Superiore 2015: Medium-body. Medium acidity. Strong tannins. Nice structure with rich dark fruits, plum, tobacco & leather. The finish is long & dry. This is a lovely mixture of 50% Montepulciano & 50% Sangiovese; well worth a try however give it some time to soften up. Great weekend to all! Cheers🍷

Delicious, long tannins and red fruit, minerality and pepper. The spice quotient is much more delicate than one can reasonably expect from such a robust wine. Paired excellently with a bone-in ribeye steak. // Tannini deliziosi lunghi e frutti rossi robusti, con mineralità e odore di pepe. La quantità di spezie è molto più delicata di quanto dovresti aspettarti da un vino così robusto. Andrebbe bene con una bistecca alla fiorentina.

Montepulciano & Sangiovese with beef stew. Might have benefited from decanting earlier.
