Drinking with mom, dad, Emily, and Philippe for Emily's 30th birthday in Seattle. Dark ruby and a very bright nose. Silky, dry, and peppery. More green pepper than black better. Delightful, would drink again

Starting to flatten out a little. Good anyway, very mellow but lacks complexity.
