Mar 14th, 2021A buoyant medium purple with a wide brim. Fresh vibrant red fruit on the nose, along with notes of lavender and dried mushrooms. The funk is shy at first but will come into play later. By now we all know how these natural wines go. Precious little things. What you get from the Christina wines are reliability and wonderful simplicity.
If you’re not familiar with the St. Laurent grape, think a weightier and smokier Pinot. High acid and medium weight, there is substance here that is sometimes lacking from other natural bottles. Richer and drier than most, as well. Ripe red cherries, wild strawberries, and plums dominate the palate with dry earth and more smoke. Give this a good chill and then pop and pour. Terrific fun.

I love the label and the message on this wine so they had me hooked before I even uncorked it. The wine is light on the nose a bit of fruit and a bit of earth. Has kind of a root vegetable vibe in the carrot juice or beet category and then some berries. It is not a complex wine but it is a very enjoyable, easy drinker.

Oct 24th, 2020I’m just smelling straight up beets to be honest. White lillies and bunches of raspberries.
Linear. Raspberries. Definite strawberries. Just a berry medley.
Slight blackberries and some sort of herbaceous quality I can’t pinpoint.
