Pepper, cardboard, spices (vanilla scent vs wild) and ripe black berries which are slowly fading away. The 12 month aging in barriques pays off right now, 8 years after, giving a full-bodied wine with fuzzy molten tannins, a warm albeit dry palate. Lingers endlessly on the tongue, between the teeths. Made to last.
