Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah

Total curveball at the end of the evening. Typical Bordeaux nose. Definitely has some age to it but still standing strong.

Always fun to drink a 40 year old wine that still delivers

1981 well...this was not a properly stored wine. I tasted a 1981 “garage stored” wine. The wine had not gone bad, it was not vinegar, but it had totally oxidized and lost all fruit, flavor, and taste, except fir alcohol. I am bummed, but grateful.
