Delicious cooked red raspberry nose with graphite that almost has a touch of mint in its intensity. Palate is surprisingly bright and grippy--feels younger than it is. Strong tannins grab and don't let go. Finish delivers warm jammy red fruits for a nice long time. There's less leather and sharper tannins than a lot of similar French reds I've tried so far -- you can feel the high altitude of the Unang vineyard. Really enjoyable! I thought the 2010 was a little warmer and softer.
