The 2015 Trotanoy is rich, dark, and brooding. Some spiciness, anise, and tobacco rounds out its very complex aromatics. Perhaps a bit more exotic than the LFP, but doesn't quite replicate its freshness. The blend is 93% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc. The style is unmistakably Trotanoy.

Jul 26th, 2016Wonderful wine, opened this up for a tasting. If I were to personally open it, it would not be for another 10-15 years. It's awkward right now, the green notes have not integrated, and it's super tannic as well, but amazing potential!!! Highly recommended
