Deep ruby red color with nice aromas of black fruits and cigarette on the nose. Full-bodied with good taste of plum, blackcurrant, and hint of vanilla. Firm texture and meaty but rough tannins together with soft & reasonable length. Good value.

70 Merlot, 15 each CS and CF. Pencil lead, plum, a hint of cassis. Firm tannins, light acidity, well-balanced. Solid, basic, inexpensive Bordeaux--$10. Great QPR.
