Bordeaux Supérieur Red Bordeaux Blend

For the price, this is a great Bordeaux. Once it's open for a couple of hours it's excellent.

Nice change of pace.

Picture is not my bottle. Drank a glass at Bin 35 in Brookside. Dark fruit, slight sweetness, plum, blueberry. Medium-length finish. Slightly strong alcohol taste, but otherwise good. Pairs well with fried chicken. I had the 2009 a couple of years ago and it was a little past its prime. 2014 at 3 years is better.

Distinct wood notes in the first hour or so, gives way to a more balanced (but not exciting) bouquet. Good middle of the road Bordeaux. 2012 half bottle, prize winner (dont know why), about $9 at specs in 2017.

Really dry nice wine. Excellent

Starts a little uneven/alcoholy. Touch of sweetness. Dark berry starts to come out, then finish is smooth. Definitely drinkable, but either average wine or past prime.

Smooth, full bodied, with a red color, and full grape notes

Very dry and earthy... Beautiful ruby color and was a bit better after it had aerated for a while.

Deep ruby red color with nice aromas of black fruits and cigarette on the nose. Full-bodied with good taste of plum, blackcurrant, and hint of vanilla. Firm texture and meaty but rough tannins together with soft & reasonable length. Good value.
