An unexpectedly fine Bordeaux from an overlooked year (by me) . Less herbal and more vanilla than some other Bordeauxs. Dark burgundy red, dark fruits like ripe plums. Not much herbal taste, but def distinct vanilla :) also a hint of rose :)

Initially an 8.3. Thin at first but not as bad as I expected based on other reviews. Mellowed out to be worth drinking after 3-4 hours, 8.6
