Very dark, almost has a musty wood smell and taste. Tannins aren't too heavy but the wine overall is heavy mouthfeel. Fruit flavors are muted and a lot of the oakiness really comes out. Not my favorite. Came in my first Vinebox. If it didn't come packaged by Vinebox in the glass vial I might have suspected it to be corked.
