Dark purple in the glass. Color near to the rim. Shy nose. Palate of dark chocolate and black raspberry. Medium plus acidity. Full body This bottle was leaking and the cork crumbled on opening, but the wine appears sound. Not as plush as Argentine. Not as austere as Cahors. Good with leg of lamb.
