OMG, perfection! Forgive the trite description but this wine/vintage just nails it...That is all.

Dark garnet with a slightly lighter edge, nose of black plum and fresh earth. Clear black plum and major cherry/black cherry finish. Smooth at first with low tannins but a bit acidic at the end. A good wine but maybe better with more air or more years or with some food. Later: definitely better with dinner food!

Loved this grape! Sipped on it prior to dinner and enjoyed immensely. Seemed to just get better with steak dinner.

Flat wine. Fruit still there. 100% Mouvredre. 15.1% alcohol. Too high and throws the balance off

Maybe it was the way I paired it, but I thought this was kind of a miss from typically one of my favorite vineyards.

This Mourvèdre shows beautiful black fruits highlighted by earthy notes and exotic spices. There’s a great meatiness and complexity to the wine, with a round mouthfeel and supple tannins. This is a great wine pairing for pizza or a hearty pasta dish.
