This wine wasn’t dry but it was just more bitter than I like my whites. It was light and smooth while still being about 12% ABV.

This is not good. Empty and soulless. I should know better than to visit relatives without something drinkable in tow.

Founded in 1934, Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington with some of the most mature vineyards in the Columbia Valley. Straw yellow with aromas of stone and tropical fruit with floral notes. On the palate crisp style with apple and citrus, balanced acidity with natural sweetness, not overwhelming with a touch of honey on a medium ending. Good value. Tasting Sample.

Aroma is really rich. Such a smooth flavor. Takes me back to the Mozel valley, even though this is from WA state. A really great accompaniment to spicy food. Or, to enjoy just by itself.

Got this last minute for homemade spicy Vietnamese dish: all kinds of spritz, flavors kind of all over the place and trace amount of RS on back end. It is what it is... $10
