Very smooth. Still has some tannic tones left but a very well done wine.

Big tannins on its first pour that mellows down considerably after decanting. Too dry and earthy to enjoy on its own but goes extremely well with savoury food. Notes of leather and fresh mushrooms. Deep plum colour with lots of sediment. Ready to enjoy in 2016 but it still has ageing potential.

Beautiful wine, we decanted this of the sediment and drank over a couple hours. In the first pour it had heavy scents of sweet anise and cherries almost like an expensive licorice from a time period fair. After some more time in the decanter it turned more towards a sweet smokey pipe tobacco with a little more earth showing. Really a great experience
