Nose of plumbs, cherries, leather, and black pepper.
Flavors of red and black cherry, soil, and tar backed by medium tannins. Dry, medium to long finish. An impressive wine for a lesser chateau in a mediocre year.

2014 - a little flat at first, but it grew on me. Unsurprisingly very much like a Merlot.

Very pleasant. Solid structure, tasty reddish fruit, pretty clean finish with just a bit of lingering drying. Yeah, that'll do.
